How to Trim Your Shower Curtain Liner
When you first bought your shower curtain liner, it may not be of the right length and as a result, it may retain water and causing it to form mold and mildrew. These stains would be ugly in your bathroom and you may not want them. Today we are going to show you how you can trim your shower curtain liner by yourself.
1. You may want to measure the height of the shower curtain liner.
You don’t want to cut it too short neither you want to leave it too long. Probably you want to keep it at a height that is 5 cm above the ground.
2. Before you do anything to your shower curtain liner, do make sure it is dry.
The best way to dry your shower curtain is to leave it out in the sun and wait for it to dry. This will completely dry your shower curtain and it won’t take too long either.
3. After measuring the height, use a pencil or a chalk to mark the end of the shower curtain liner.
You may want to cut it at a very big area or space so that you can measure the curtain liner accurately and drawing the line nicely. Using a carpenter square can help you greatly in drawing a very straight line that is parallel to the old line.
4. Now you can cut the edge with a pair of scissors or a cutter.
Do make sure that it is a sharp one otherwise you won’t make a beautiful cut. Do have patience when you do the cut especially when you are doing the first time.
